Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear – Elizabeth Gilbert
Summary: Elizabeth digs deep into her own generative process to share her wisdom and unique perspective about creativity. With profound empathy and radiant generosity, she offers potent insights into the mysterious nature of inspiration.
My Thoughts: “You must imitate before you can innovate.” I had purposefully avoided this book because I had heard bad reviews but I really enjoyed it. It gives a perspective on creativity I had never heard before. As someone who didn’t identify as creative, this book opened my eyes to all types of creativity.
