How to Ensure Your Original Creations Are Shared with the World
Freezing
It can happen to anyone when a decision is on the line or you become overwhelmed.
You aren’t sure what to do next and the decision seems bigger than it is. As you freeze, your mind starts to spiral. It seems, if you make the wrong decision, your whole business will slow and it will take months or years to correct. Your pulse quickens, hands dampen, and the thought of toiling for so long weakens you. What if this decision isn’t the right one? What if it can’t be corrected and your business fails?
These thoughts might not be true but it is easy to believe.
No business owner knows all the steps. It’s impossible to know the future. We can identify the next step or next few steps. Move towards the one that feels right and adjust our path based on the outcome.
Just because we don’t know all the steps, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t plan. Planning gives structure to your time. Planning lays out the next steps you have identified. If done right, planning gives you the freedom to pivot when needed.
Toiling day-after-day to run your business. Struggling to setup systems and questioning if they will even help. These issues can trigger a freeze. Often we don’t know we are freezing because it manifests into going back to the routine you are comfortable in. Comfort doesn’t allow for growth and change. Release the freeze and step into planned action.
Your original creations need to be shared with the world.
Where would we be if Walt Disney froze when his idea of a magical place, very different from the video he was known for, took hold? We wouldn’t have Disneyland and I bet, the content we get from Disney would look very different. Walt taking action to pivot and step into his abundant originator self, he saw the path to create the happiest place on earth. Toiling day-after-day does not give you the space to become the abundant originator you are.
“We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious. And curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. We’re always exploring and experimenting.” – Walt Disney
Setting up systems to manage the plan and the automation will give you focus. Focus on what work you need to do but also the space to create, to be abundant, to be original.
Your system should be structured to align with your company mission and goals. The automations should be utilized to give back time each day, even in very small chunks. Both need to be built with your measures of success and time in mind.
Pausing to setup a plan, a system, and the next steps will create the platform you need to launch. You can set up these items alone or with help but you do need to prioritize there existence. If you’d like to learn more about the systems I suggest, click here.
